Interdisciplinary, Practice-Oriented, Individual

Your Path to Knowledge

In the Medien- und Wirtschaftspsychologie degree programme, you will not only learn theory but also gain hands-on experience. Small cohort sizes enable close interaction between students and lecturers. You will not study alone - through group work and projects, you will learn with and from fellow studets.

How You Will Learn With Us

Interdisciplinary

HdM is a place of exchange and opportunities. That is why we focus on interdisciplinary projects across degree programmes. During your studies, you will work with students from other disciplines. In one semester, for example, students from Medien- und Wirtschaftspsychologie analysed a media production created by students from the Audiovisuelle Medien Bachelor's degree programme as part of the Media Research Lab II module.

Practice-Oriented

During an internship semester, you can already explore which professional field suits you best while still studying. Our students gain diverse insights and develop not only professionally but also personally. In addition to the internship semester, you can gain further hands-on experience through projects, a semester abroad or guest lectures.

Individual

Your electives, your decision. In the sixth and seventh semesters, you can shape your competence profile in a highly individual way. You decide which areas you want to deepen your skills in or what you would like to learn next. To do so, you select your electives from the Medien- und Wirtschaftspsychologie degree programme or from other Bachelor's degree programmes offered at HdM.

The internship has helped me develop personally and professionally. I learned to be more open-minded and had the confidence to contribute my ideas. My team appreciated my fresh perspective from my studies and I realised that the modules and projects from my studies prepare me well for professional life.
