I chose this degree programme because I wanted to combine psychology with a modern, practical approach. I found the eye tracking study in the first semester particularly exciting because I realised how much I enjoy practical work. Later on, I would like to design working environments in such a way that people can develop well in them.

In my part-time job in marketing and sales, I keep realising how much I take away from my studies. The psychological knowledge helps me to better understand what motivates people and it makes my day-to-day work more exciting. I am particularly interested in media psychology because it shows how strongly media shapes our thinking and behaviour.

I chose this degree programme because it combines my interests in business, psychology and media. I find social psychology particularly interesting because I recognise what I learn there directly in my everyday life. Since then, my perspective has changed: I now perceive adverts, for example on social media or in the supermarket, more consciously and understand how psychological mechanisms work behind them.
